Under the Hanimaadhoo Northern Surf Point (Uturu Raalhugandu) Area Development Project, the work to survey, design, and prepare detailed drawings for the area has been awarded to "CharetteStudio".
In a special ceremony held today, the President of the Council signed the agreement on behalf of the Hanimaadhoo Council, while a senior official signed on behalf of Sharat Studio.
Awarded for a total of MVR 162,000/- (one hundred and sixty-two thousand Rufiyaa), this project involves conducting the necessary environmental and site surveys to fully develop the Northern Surf Point area for public and tourist use, as well as preparing suitable modern designs and blueprints for the space.
According to the Hanimaadhoo Council, this project marks the first phase of key planned initiatives to develop the area for the island's social and economic benefit. The Council also noted that upon completion of the design work, announcements will be made to initiate physical construction.
